Nuremberg
Nuremberg Castle was one of the most important imperial palaces of the Holy Roman Empire in the Middle Ages. Some of the imperial living and representation rooms in the Palas still have paneling from the late Middle Ages and Renaissance.
The exhibition was redesigned in 2013. In the new presentation of the castle, not only the existence and function of the imperial castle are clearly explained in their historical context, but also interesting facts about the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation and the role of Nuremberg in the late Middle Ages are conveyed in an exciting and stimulating way for visitors of all ages.
